I was really curious to see how extremely successful women start their mornings off. I’ve been wanting to better optimize my morning routine and in the process I found this great article. I thought it would be a good one for a Friday even though it’s atypical because you can try some of these strategies with the start of the new week on Monday! Kathryn Minshew, the founder and CEO of The Muse, contacted 21 successful women to see what they did first thing in the morning and compiled the list for all of our benefit.
Some women zoom straight out of bed to get started or even check their emails on their phone while still in bed. However, a few of the women say the most important thing to do right when you wake up is to care for yourself so that you have enough energy to go out there and take care of everything else you might need to take care of. Many start out with yoga and a healthy breakfast. Also, quite a few of the women say starting out with a meditation or a prayer is best so you can have a moment to yourself.
