- Be Considerate During the Project – Remodeling can get stressful and as the days and weeks pass by the relationship between you and the contractor can get adversarial as you expect the project to be done and they encounter setbacks that you may not be understanding of. Make sure that you pick your battles over issues and remember that it is preferable for the job to take a little longer than expected and be done right than just be completed to meet a schedule.
