The winter season is upon us, and even though Encinitas is a coastal city you could still partake in winter activities. There are always events occurring in and around Encinitas. Take your family or plan a date at these winter themed events that are sure to put you in the Holiday spirit.

  • Welk Resorts 3rd Annual Winter Wonderland Celebration

Experience snow at this winter wonderland resort! Enjoy sledding, snow tubing, live entertainment, kid-friendly activities, and so much more! Christmas light decorating is a beautiful winter sight. Some homeowners go all out for their decorations and it is a magical sight!   • Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade

Have any pets? Or do you simply love animals? Come to the Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade being held December 16th. Ring in the holiday spirit with dozens of costumed pets wearing their Holiday best. There will be 9 costume contests, live music, fun activities, and goody bags. It is recommended that participants register in advance.
